Who concludes the insurance?
EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS A PERMIT to carry and use firearms. The following parties are obligated to conclude insurance (as per the requirements of the Control over Explosives, Firearms and Ammunition Act – article 14, paragraph 5 and 6 / Official Gazette, volume 99 issued on 22.10.2002):Legal entities performing security activities insure employees which use firearms;Individuals using firearms for self-defense;Employees of legal entities, which use firearms for security.The insurance may also be concluded by persons using firearms for sports and hunting purposes.
What does the insurance cover?
ALL AMOUNTS which the insured party must pay as per a legal act, based on third-party claims such as compensation for physical harm (including death and loss of work capacity) and/or damages to property which occurred during the insurance period as a direct result of the carriage and use of firearms.
What is the insurance premium?
THE INSURANCE PRICE IS DETERMINED by the type and number of firearms used by the insured party, the selected liability limits, the range of insurance coverage and the insurance period. Some insurers provide installment payment options for 2, 3 or 4 installments.
